Welcome!

Man, it has sure been a heavy week. With the market imploding, and the presidential race becoming ABOUT race, intolerance and hatred, there is a lot to talk about.

Not a lot of comedy in today’s show, but we do have some tunes, as well as a piece by Rachel Maddow that explores the McCain campaign and the downright hostile crowds they have been attracting.

In a vain attempt to lighten the mood, we’ll also listen to a little Carlin as he talks about education and who owns this good ‘ol USA.

I think next week, we’ll return to more lighthearted fare. We all could use the laughs!
